Head coach Phil Jackson and the Los Angeles Lakers were slapped with a 50,000 dollar fine for Jackson's criticism of the officials who worked game four of the NBA finals.

Jackson was hit with a 25,000 fine and the Lakers were fined an additional 25,000 dollars for their coaches' actions, National Basketball Association vice president Stu Jackson announced on Saturday.

Jackson made his comments while being interviewed for TV between the first and second quarters of the Lakers 99-91 win in game four of the 2009 finals.

This is not the first time in the playoffs Jackson has been fined for blasting game officials. He was also fined following game four of the semi-finals against the Denver Nuggets.
