Jefferson sparks Spurs as Parker returns from injury

Richard Jefferson had 18 points and five rebounds as the San Antonio Spurs beat the Sacramento Kings 95-86 Tuesday making Tony Parker's return a successful one.

Manu Ginobili chipped in 16 points and six assists for San Antonio, who have won four in a row.

France's Parker returned after missing 16 games with a broken right hand and scored eight points in 17 minutes of playing time.

Garrett Temple scored a career-high 15 points, while DeJuan Blair added 13 points off the bench for the Spurs.

Tyreke Evans had 22 points, nine rebounds for the losers, who have lost eight straight games

Carl Landry finished with 20 points, while Donte Greene had 12 points off the bench for the Kings.

San Antonio moved into a sixth-place tie with Oklahoma City in the Western Conference playoff race. San Antonio has five games left on the regular season, including games against Phoenix, Denver and Dallas.
